PROJECT S.E.L.F. WELCOMES YOU

She Embraces Living Fearlessly

Created by two Wakefield High School graduates, Emily Hammond and Jillian Raso, Project S.E.L.F. is a growing program geared towards fostering self confidence in young girls through group discussions, arts and crafts, and journaling. It is our hope that through the promotion of body positivity, high self esteem, and healthy habits, young girls will become strong, confident, and empowered women.

WHO WE ARE

A Project Stemming From Passion

Here at Project S.E.L.F., our main goal is to empower and inspire girls so that each and every girl can not only reach her own full potential, but can also learn to equally support and encourage her fellow classmates. It is important to us that we emphasize that it is best to "be the woman who fixes another woman's crown without telling the world it was crooked".

GROUP DISCUSSIONS

By sharing our thoughts and ideas in our open-ended discussions on a variety of topics from self-confidence and body positivity to health/wellness and the effects of social media, girls are better able to share personal stories, ask questions, and overall walk away with a better understanding of what Project SELF is all about.
